For the most part, all shipping is handled by United Parcel Service. We take seriously the cost of shipping and constantly strive to modify our shipping tables to benefit our customers. All shipping costs are based on total purchase price per shopping experience. We sometimes will ship USPS, without notice. We try to ship the best way possible especially for our international clients.

All products manufactured by and bought from Happy Trails Motorcycle Products can be returned for 100% credit toward the purchase of new products. In the event you would prefer a refund, a restocking fee of 25% will ensure we can continue to offer you quality products at a reasonable price. No returns can be accepted on special orders. Again, no returns will be accepted on products not manufactured by Happy Trails. All return shipping is paid for by the customer. Items returned must be in their original packaging. The products must be returned within 30 days of the shipping date. The product must be in "new" condition, at our discretion. Our goal is for everyone to be a "Happy Customer"!

Keep in mind, all of our boxes are TIG welded of .080” aluminum and are not glued or riveted together. The Happy Trails Slot Hinge Lid (SHL) is a new Patent Pending design that fits all needs. The SHL acts like both a side-hinged and fully removal lid. We have actually eliminated the hinge mechanism but the unique design allows the SHL to act as if it were hinged. This allows for confidence in having the lid securely attached. In "lid off" mode, a customer simply rearranges the hardware. All boxes are top loading. The old problem of which style lid to order if you have an interference problem is solved by the SHL. Each box has a very high quality lockable cam-latch. The addition of a small padlock or cable allows for additional security. Our cam-lock latch system gives a positive seal, meaning that the gasket always has torque applied to it resulting in no leaks. All of the lids come with footman loops for strapping additional gear to the lids. The box opening is 1 3/4”-2” smaller because of design elements. All boxes are lockable with your own padlocks (or purchase below). Each box requires two padlocks (a total of 4). Bare Aluminum boxes will have some imperfections and scratches, from the manufacturing process.
